The company reinforces its leadership in advanced air movement technologies across the Middle East

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

KDK Company, a division of PES Japan and a trusted name in electrical fans and ventilation technology, has announced the expansion of its regional product portfolio with the official launch of its new In-Line Centrifugal Fans at Big 5 Global, happening at the World Trade Centre, Dubai. The launch aligns with the growing demand from contractors, consultants, facility managers, and end users for advanced ducted solutions that offer superior efficiency, compact installation, noise reduction, and enhanced air quality management.

KDK’s new in-line centrifugal range provides a refined answer to the region’s rising expectations for performance-driven ventilation systems with features engineered for diverse commercial, residential, and industrial applications. A new benchmark in ventilation performance, the new centrifugal fan features precision in engineering high-performance external rotor motor, thermal protector, and premium ball bearings, ensuring stable and reliable operation. Meanwhile, its double-sided fan blades deliver smooth, quiet, and vibration-free operation.

Built for long operational life, the fans support continuous use of up to 40,000 hours—equivalent to over four years of uninterrupted operation. It is also equipped with Class F insulation and an IP44-rated enclosure that safeguards the unit against dust and moisture intrusion, enabling long-term reliability. A pre-fitted mounting bracket, terminal box, and PVC gland ensure simple, convenient installation across multiple project types.

Mr. Tomoya Tanida, General Manager, KDK Company, commented, “As a brand committed to advancing air movement technology, we understand how essential proper ventilation is to maintaining healthy indoor environments—especially in the UAE’s uniquely humid climate. Effective ventilation enhances comfort, protects against harmful pollutants, and prevents excessive moisture, ultimately creating safer and healthier living spaces.

“The introduction of our new in-line centrifugal fans reflects KDK’s dedication to innovation and our response to the rising demand for space-optimised, energy-efficient, and low-noise ventilation solutions in modern construction. This product line expansion further strengthens our portfolio in the Middle East and reinforces KDK and our partner Electra’s commitment to supporting healthier, smarter, and more sustainable indoor environments across the region,” he added.

Mr. Nabil Dalle, Managing Director, Electra Dubai, the distributor of KDK in the UAE, said, “With the industry fast-moving towards concealed ventilation systems, the new line is designed to address both current and future expectations of the construction sector. KDK continues to set the benchmark in advanced ventilation technologies, enabling us to support our clients with a superior solution that offers efficient performance.”

Mr. Arun Mohan, Deputy Managing Director, Electra Abu Dhabi, the distributor of KDK in the UAE, commented on the region’s growing demand for ventilation solutions, stating: “The Middle East ventilation fan market is projected to reach USD 65.7 million by 2030, driven by the essential role these systems play in maintaining healthy air circulation within enclosed spaces. With people spending nearly 80% of their time indoors, and with health and sustainability becoming increasingly important, developers are placing greater emphasis on advanced indoor air quality solutions as an integral part of modern infrastructure projects.”

Visitors experienced live demonstrations designed to highlight the performance, engineering, and ease of installation across KDK’s portfolio at the Zabeel Hall 4, stand no: Z4 C111, at Big 5 Global until 27th November 2025.

Named after Kawakita Denki Kigyosha, KDK is a Japanese electrical engineering company that was

established in the year 1909, and has since created significant milestones in contributing to society through its air

and wind technologies. KDK’s strict compliance policy and Japanese quality assurance have helped build a strong reputation for the brand globally.  KDK today primarily manufactures Electric Fans, as well as Ventilating Fans, Ceiling Fans, Air Curtains, Air Purifiers, and Air Moving Equipment.
