The stage for this memorable proposal was set on the shores of Jumeirah beach where Shreyas took the art of proposing to new heights – or rather, to the open sea. A transparent boat, adorned with vibrant flowers, sailed them into their new chapter during a gorgeous sunset that punctuated a magical moment.
The moment was a hat tip to the serendipitous circumstances in which the two first came together despite hailing from very diverse backgrounds. Ashley, who has American and Peruvian roots, first crossed paths with Shreyas at a clinic. Fate brought them together again six months later at a restaurant, which marked the beginning of a new journey that has been a harmonious blend of energy, taste, and a mutual commitment to personal development.
“We both share the same idea about growing each other,” Shreyas explains with glee. “I like to grow in terms of mindset and life, and she has the same perspective. That’s why we became very strong together. She’s always up for improvement, which I really appreciate.”
