Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 31.8.26 – Opening tomorrow, the 50th edition of Middle East Energy 2026 is set to bring together over 30,000 of the leading stakeholders from across the energy industry in Dubai. Held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, this includes accelerating investment in large-scale renewable energy infrastructure, delivering power demand against growing population and industry, as well as data centres and AI, and the expansion of smart grid technologies to improve energy management, efficiency, and resilience.

Against a backdrop of structural change across the regional energy market, Middle East Energy 2026 will put the practical challenges of powering the next phase of growth at the centre of the conversation. Across the exhibition and conference programme, leaders will examine how grids can keep pace with rising demand from AI, data centres, industry and increasingly electrified economies; how renewable energy and storage can be integrated at scale; and how investment, digitalisation, smart infrastructure and cybersecurity will shape more resilient power systems. Discussions will also address the economics and financing of energy projects, the changing role of utilities and the technologies required to balance reliability, affordability and sustainability. Together, these themes reflect a transition that is no longer simply about generating cleaner electricity, but about building the infrastructure, investment ecosystem and supply chains capable of powering a much larger and more complex economy. These conversations will then move to the 1,500+ exhibitors on the showfloor, demonstrating the solutions required to deliver against these ambitions.

The Middle East Energy programme brings together speakers across five conferences: the Leadership Summit, the Technical Excellence Forum, the Intersolar Middle East Conference, the Battery Show Conference, and the Energy Storage Summit.
The programme also features a series of dedicated platforms spotlighting the region’s leadership and talent. The Dubai Global Leaders Series roundtable, hosted by the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), will bring together six global leaders for a closed-door discussion. The GEEA Roundtable, focused on the Global Energy Efficiency Alliance, will convene 26 global CEOs to advance the sector’s efficiency agenda. Middle East Energy will also mark Emirati Women’s Day with a dedicated celebration. Powered by Her, including sessions from Eng. Middle East Energy will convene from 1–3 September at Dubai World Trade Centre and held under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure with more than 1,500 exhibitors from over 150 countries, with more than 30,000 attendees already registered.
