His entrepreneurial journey kicked off in 2009 with Bosporus Dubai—a Turkish restaurant that quickly established itself as a culinary icon with five flagship venues ranging from Dubai Mall to Downtown Boulevard. Recognized by both locals and royalty, the brand’s success culminated in its acquisition by a royal family member from Abu Dhabi, sparking global expansion that now includes over 15 locations worldwide, including London.
In 2022, Murat took another bold step by co-founding Amaya Dubai. Located in Dubai Mall, this futuristic and AI-driven hospitality concept has already become a hotspot—celebrated for its premium shisha, captivating ambiance, and the striking presence of Joseph Klibansky’s “The Bear.” Amaya has emerged as a magnet for celebrities and influencers seeking an unparalleled dining experience.
Now, with a team of 90 and a strong digital presence, Amaya is gearing up for new ventures, including expansion into Erbil and further GCC markets, plus two groundbreaking restaurant concepts scheduled for launch in 2025.
Murat sums up his philosophy: “I don’t believe in shortcuts. It’s about staying true to the vision, building a strong team, and never stopping.” Inspired by industry giants like Steve Jobs and Elon Musk, and driven by his mother’s influence and his love for sports—which he credits for keeping him balanced—Murat’s message is clear: loyalty and structure are the cornerstones of enduring success.
