Keyboard Virtuoso – Ricky Kej leads a stellar lineup to melodic heights
Dubai – January 20, 2025: The 21st edition of the Global Fusion Concert presented by Alpen Capital and Alpen Asset Advisors, featured a mesmerising performance by a spectacular lineup of critically acclaimed artistes. Under the theme, ‘Rhythm. Unity. Peace’, the concert conveyed the powerful message of camaraderie during these trying times, highlighting the ability of music to transcend barriers.

This year’s concert was led by Ricky Kej, a three-time Grammy-winning musician and composer from India. A United Nations Goodwill Ambassador and US Billboard #1 artiste, Kej has received over 100 music awards spanning 20 countries. The stellar lineup featured Ron Korb from Japan on the flute, Randy McStine from the USA on the guitar, Sonja Schebeck from Austria on the violin, Jali Fily Cissokho from Senegal on the kora, and Giridhar Udupa from India on ghatam and percussion.
The Polish contemporary dancer, Kinga Malec, added a visual element with her energetic performance, perfectly synchronised with the vibrant tunes. As always, the concert provided a platform for local talent, featuring Emirati artiste Abdul Aziz Al Madani on the oud.
