Nvidia is bringing its GeForce Now cloud gaming service to Amazon Fire TV devices with a new native app. Announced at CES, the app will give GeForce Now subscribers access to their PC game libraries on their TV, allowing them to enjoy their favorite titles on the big screen without dedicated gaming hardware.

Nvidia says that the app will initially be available on select Fire TV sticks, including the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus (2nd Gen) and the Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen). It is slated to roll out later this year in all regions where GeForce Now and compatible Fire TV sticks are available, giving gamers worldwide a new way to bring PC-quality gaming into their living rooms.

GeForce Now on Fire TV will support gamepads and offer a familiar interface, letting users jump into games with minimal setup. Alongside the Fire TV app, Nvidia has also announced a GeForce Now app for Linux. The app will be compatible with Ubuntu 24.04 and later distros and is expected to roll out in beta in early 2026.

Expanded controller support and new titles

Additionally, Nvidia announced flight control support for simulation fans, with compatibility for flight sticks and throttle systems from Thrustmaster and Logitech, further expanding how users can experience games in the cloud. The company also revealed new AAA titles headed to the cloud gaming service, including 007 First Light, Resident Evil Requiem, Crimson Desert, and Active Matter.

With Nvidia GeForce Now joining Amazon Luna and Xbox Cloud Gaming on Fire TV, the platform’s cloud gaming options are expanding rapidly. Whether you’re revisiting old favorites or diving into new releases, GeForce Now on Fire TV will make it easier than ever to enjoy PC titles on the big screen without shelling out the big bucks on gaming hardware.
