Industry leaders and seasoned marketing professionals gathered at an event, which showcased real world examples of how AI is reshaping customer engagement.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 19 February 2025: Ogilvy One, the global brand for Ogilvy’s current and next-generation services for business, brand and customer value, and Progress, the trusted provider of AI-powered digital experiences and infrastructure software, today unveiled exclusive insights with Progress Sitefinity, a cloud-based, AI-powered CMS, on creating AI-powered digital experiences that enhance customer engagement, at a partner event held in Dubai.

The event featured several high-level discussions, attended by industry experts and marketing professionals. A session on Driving Engagement Through AI-Powered Personalisation and Customer Data highlighted how actionable AI strategies can drive measurable results. Led by Frans Riemersma, author and MarTech influencer, the session underlined the power of AI in predicting future consumer actions going beyond just customer behaviour. Frans also demonstrated how to build business use cases that utilise data, content and features, and how to maximise the personalisation of customer journeys through marketing technology backed by AI.

“Marketers today have access to more data than ever before, but the real challenge lies in turning that data into actionable insights,” said Riemersma. “Today, with AI, brands can not only predict customer actions but also anticipate their needs, preferences, and emotions. By integrating AI into every step of the customer journey – from content creation to real-time personalisation – marketers can curate experiences that feel both immediate and meaningful. We must continue to leverage the power of technology to build authentic, emotional connections at scale, ultimately driving loyalty and long-term success.”

A panel discussion on Modern Digital Experience also brought together industry leaders to explore the evolving expectations of today’s customers and the strategies required to meet them. Expert participants discussed the essential elements needed to build a seamless, connected, and personalised digital journey, offering real-world examples of how AI and marketing technology are reshaping customer engagement.

The discussion also focused on the effective use of AI in personalisation, the nuances of crafting impactful omnichannel experiences, and the tangible benefits of leveraging data-driven insights to enhance customer interactions.

Ramiro Millan, Senior Director of Partnerships at Progress, said: “Today, the customer journey is more dynamic and interconnected, making AI and automation essential for brands to stay competitive. At Progress, we empower businesses through providing the technology they need to create scalable, personalised, and intelligent digital experiences.”

“Partnering with Ogilvy One, we can easily demonstrate how brands can harness AI and customer data to drive meaningful engagement and sustained business growth. This event served as a strong platform for organisations to advance their digital strategies with AI-powered content management and marketing automation,” Millan added.

Following the panel discussion, Ogilvy One presented an in-depth case study on how personalised, predictive, data and behavior-driven communications can significantly impact customer engagement. The study explored how historical customer behaviour patterns, leveraging previous transactions with customer first-party data, and aligning communications with on-sale SKUs resulted in highly personalised, automated follow-up messages across multiple channels, ultimately driving higher online and offline sales.

Hazem El Zayat, Chief Experience Officer MENA at Memac Ogilvy, said: “The partnership between Ogilvy One and Progress is a powerful example of the potential that can be unlocked by integrating digital transformation and cutting-edge AI technology. By combining our insights on customer engagement with Progress’ innovative solutions, we create more meaningful, personalised experiences for our clients, which go beyond just meeting customer expectations. This event is a step forward in demonstrating the power of collaboration to push the boundaries of digital marketing and harness the true potential of AI to drive long-term value for brands.”

Ogilvy One focuses on creating personalised, data-led experiences that drive meaningful connections between businesses and their audiences. Through its collaboration with Progress Sitefinity, Ogilvy One will further enhance its ability to deliver intelligent, scalable digital strategies. By combining Ogilvy One’s expertise in customer engagement with Progress Sitefinity’s advanced AI-powered content management and automation capabilities, the partnership will enable brands to harness data, personalise interactions, and drive long-term customer loyalty and business growth.
