Opening of Sino Chinese Hospital in Dubai

Dubai – United Arab Emirates – 13/12/2024: Yesterday, Sino Hospital – The First Chinese Hospital is opened in the Emirate of Dubai, In the presence of DHA officials, chief leaders of Chinese Corporates, media, doctors and staffs.

After the Ribbon cutting ceremony, the guests toured the hospital, during which they learned more about the various departments and development plan of Sino Hospital, alongside a group of media professionals and VIP guests.

First, Mr Chungang Li Chairman of HuaCell International Group & Sino Hospital says: First of all, I believe that if there’s one more school built, then this will change fate of the children, and if there’s one more hospital built, then this will help many families to stay away from illness. We are very proud and honored to bring Traditional Chinese Medicine with the latest Biomedical Technologies from “HuaCell Group” to UAE.

And Professor Zeping Lu, Director of the hospital added: We are proud to be the 1st Chinese Hospital in the UAE and yet we are the first to combine Traditional Chinese Medicine and Modern Technology, always remember “Sino Hospital, say No to Unhealth & Unhappiness”

About Sino Hospital

Sino Hospital, the first Chinese hospital in Dubai with over 100 beds, is located in Al Qusais, just 3 kilometers from Dubai International Airport, covering an area of 18,000 square meters. The hospital currently has 110 beds, with an expansion plan to increase this number to 500. It is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including the most advanced C-arm machine cardiac transplantation operating room in the Gulf region. As an affiliated hospital of Gulf Medical University, Sino Hospital has initially launched several specialized departments, including Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and General Surgery.

It also established a Traditional Medicine Center, Maternal and Child Health Center, and Advanced Medical Center, offering specialized services for patients. The hospital will bring the clinical advantages and expert teams from top-tier Chinese hospitals, introduce experienced medical professionals from both China and abroad. Sino Hospital aims to become the world’s first “integrated hospital of Chinese Traditional Medicine, Modern Western Medicine, and Advanced Stem Cell Medicine,” promoting the healthcare standards in Dubai.

About Professor Lu Zeping, Hospital Director

Prof. Lu Zeping, the founder of HUACELL Technology Group, Ph.D. and M.D. in Stem Cell Regenerative Medicine and Doctor of Medicine, jointly trained by the Chinese and UK governments. He is the Chief Physician in Neurosurgery and a senior biomedical researcher with over 20 years of experience in stem cell translational medicine, biomedical research, and industrial operations. He is a renowned academic leader in Stem Cell.

Prof. Lu is chief physician of brain neurosurgery and senior researcher of biomedicine. He received his training at the University of Edinburgh’s Roslin Institute (the birthplace of Dolly the sheep) and he is a leading Chinese scholar in stem cell regenerative medicine. He was the first doctor appointed under Tianjin’s “Haihe Talent” program initiated by Prime Minister Guoking Zhang.

He also serves as the Vice Secretary-General of the Biotherapy Branch of the Chinese Health Management Association and Director of the Tianjin Stem Cell Regenerative Medicine Laboratory.

He has gathered top biomedical experts to form a leading management team, which is rapidly growing into a flagship brand for the innovative development of stem cell technology in both China and the Mid-East.

Headquartered in Beijing, China, in the Yizhuang Economic and Technological Development Zone, HUACELL Group independently owns a stem cell medicine manufacturing workshop that spans over 1,000 square meters and complies with GMP standards.
