Here’s what to expect at Ramadan Nights by the Creek at Mohammed Bin Rashid Library

Ramadan Nights by the Creek at Mohammed Bin Rashid Library

Held in conjunction with the launch of the “Season of Togetherness” by Shiekh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ramadan Nights by the Creek celebrates family bonding throughout the holy month.

The event is completely free to attend, making it an easy cultural outing for everyone this Ramadan.

Running from March 2 to 7, visitors can expect:

  • A Ramadan Market featuring 30+ local brands, SMEs and homegrown concepts
  • A dedicated Food Street with restaurants and live Emirati cooking
  • Poetry evenings and live oud performances by the waterfront
  • Reading circle gatherings and cultural discussions
  • A workshop titled “Marriage: A Life Project” exploring family and social awareness
  • Creative activities for all ages, including make-your-own misbaha and cup painting
  • Heritage-inspired experiences, including a traditional-style corner serving nostalgic bites
  • A heritage fashion night celebrating Emirati identity
  • A photography corner to capture family moments

A relaxed, community-driven Ramadan experience blending culture, food and tradition — all under one roof.
