The HUAWEI Pura 80 Series is now available in UAE bringing unprecedented photography prowess

UAE, 31 July, 2025 – After the long anticipation, the photography powerhouse, the HUAWEI Pura 80 Series, is available for purchase in the United Arab Emirates. The HUAWEI Pura 80 Pro features a 1-inch RYYB sensor and variable aperture for the industry’s largest light intake. The Ultra model introduces a 1-inch Ultra Lighting HDR Camera with 16 EV dynamic range and the industry’s first Switchable Dual Telephoto Camera system, delivering a groundbreaking imaging experience.

The HUAWEI Pura 80 Series is available for purchase from Huawei’s official online and offline stores and the retail outlets in UAE from 1st of August with prices starting at 3,999 AED.

One of the key factors that dictate image quality is the sensor size, more than the pixel count. A larger sensor captures more light, resulting in images that are brighter and have lower noise. That’s why the 1-inch sensor on the Pura 80 Pro and Ultra models is an important step in transforming mobile photography. Having a large sensor coupled with F1.6-F4.0 variable aperture lends the Ultra mode the industry’s largest light intake and superior low-light performance. The difference is immediately noticeable when you shoot pictures in dark environments.

In order to fit a large sensor for two telephoto lenses, a 3.7x medium telephoto and 9.4x super telephoto, the Pura 80 Ultra adopts the industry’s first Dual-Lens Switchable Telephoto system that shares a large main-camera-level sensor between the two lenses. With the industry’s largest telephoto sensor supported by Ultra Chroma Camera for accurate colour reproduction, both of these telephoto cameras are capable of exquisite detail restoration and low-light performance.

The HUAWEI Pura 80 Series overcomes one of the core limitations of smartphone photography, that is, sensor size. The 1-inch main camera sensors on the Ultra and Pro models and the switchable telephoto lens with a shared ultra-large sensor are a shot at taking smartphone photography to a whole new level. The result is a camera master with a vastly superior imaging system that moves smartphone photography a step closer to the kind of quality traditionally associated with larger cameras.
