Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders through a global network of clubs. Toastmasters District 127 is a vibrant community of over 2,800 members across 154 clubs, 32 areas, and 8 divisions in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

Themed ‘One District, One Family,’ the two-day conference will feature annual speech contests where top speakers from club, area, and division levels will compete for a chance to represent the district at the prestigious World Championship of Public Speaking during Toastmasters International’s global convention, scheduled from August 20 to 23, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

Former world public speaking champion Ramona J Smith will headline the annual conference inspiring the audience with her life journey and expertise. Joining her are a stellar lineup of international keynote speakers, including Dr. Loretta Sanders, global leadership strategist, Captain Sam, award-winning fitness influencer, and DTM Balaji Nagabhushan, a veteran Toastmaster.

DTM Shanil Palliyil, Chairman of DTAC 2025, said, “We are proud to host this annual mega conference, celebrating excellence in leadership and communication. DTAC 2025 will showcase world-class speakers and provide an unmatched platform for growth, learning, and meaningful connections. This is the celebration of winning leadership and communication that inspire Toastmasters to embrace success by continuous learning, practice, collaboration and exchanging experience.”

“This year’s conference promises to enrich, inspire, and transform every participant by reinforcing the core Toastmasters values and igniting the pursuit of personal and professional success. We aim to nurture core communication and leadership values in Toastmasters and instill positivity to help them achieve personal and professional goals,” he added.

DTM Viji John, Events Chair for DTAC 2025, commented: “This mega event marks the culmination of the regional contest season, presenting top-quality speeches and empowering every attendee, whether competitor, learner, or leader with growth opportunities and celebration.”

“We have curated a program that includes educational sessions to broaden insights, exhilarating contests featuring the best of our district, and keynote speeches from globally respected speakers. DTAC is a celebration of the diversity and vibrancy of the Toastmasters journey. DTAC provides a great opportunity for Toastmasters to experience the diversity of the global organization, and the occasion to re-energize with enthusiasm to continue the learning,” he added.

DTM Dr. Muneeba Ali, Programme Quality Director, Toastmasters District 127, said, “We are delighted to host DTAC 2025 in Dubai. Toastmasters meetings are life-changing, and DTAC exemplifies our global path to communication excellence, passionate leadership, self-motivated education, and self-developed skills towards personal growth.”
