Union Coop organized the “Barakatna” event

Union Coop organized the “Barakatna” event to recognize and celebrate the contributions of senior citizens to society.

The event, held at the Senior Citizens Happiness Center under the Dubai Health Authority, was attended by Dr. Suhail Al Bastaki, Chief Community Relations Officer at Union Coop; Mr. Khalid Jamal Al Bayati, Head of the Shareholders and Call Center Unit; Dr. Salwa Al Suwaidi, Director of the Senior Citizens Happiness Center; and Mr. Abdullah Al Falasi, Head of the Administrative Affairs Department at the center. Staff from both organizations also participated to support the event.

Dr. Al Bastaki stated that the initiative aligns with Union Coop’s commitment to supporting senior citizens and fostering a positive environment for them. He highlighted the event as an opportunity to strengthen community bonds and emphasized the cooperative’s dedication to supporting community-focused initiatives and partnerships.

Dr. Salwa Al Suwaidi expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Union Coop for organizing the “Barakatna” event at the center, underscoring the cooperative’s commitment to supporting all segments of society. She noted that such initiatives contribute to fostering stronger social and humanitarian bonds within the community.

She added that the event provided a platform to celebrate senior citizens, showcasing a spirit of collaboration and innovation in delivering the best for them.

The event included social activities, conversations, shared meals, and the distribution of gifts as tokens of appreciation. Senior citizens expressed their gratitude, appreciating the opportunity to connect with the community.
