VAN CLEEF & ARPELS UNVEILS THE NEW ZODIAQUE COLLECTION

Enthralled by the celestial vault, Van Cleef & Arpels has long sought to capture the poetry of the stars. Since the 1950s, the Maison has created pieces inspired by the Zodiac, reflecting the symbolism of each constellation.

This year, Van Cleef & Arpels unveils new interpretations of its Zodiac medals. The collection features twelve yellow gold bracelets, revisiting the Maison’s historic charm jewelry. Designed in a 16 mm format and suspended from a delicate chain, the medals move gracefully with each gesture. Their two sides portray each Western Zodiac sign, along with its symbol and dates in Roman numerals, expressed through subtle relief and texture.

Crafted with the age-old technique of stamping, each piece undergoes multiple strikes to achieve precise detailing. The gold is then meticulously finished, creating a refined patina and polished reliefs that enhance the brilliance of the precious metal.

The collection also presents white gold Zodiac medals, designed to be worn on either short or long chains, allowing for versatile styling across different occasions.

Rooted in a heritage dating back to the 1950s, Zodiac-inspired creations have long been part of Van Cleef & Arpels’ universe. Over the decades, the Maison has reinterpreted this theme through jewelry and watchmaking, including the Poetic Astronomy line and the Zodiaque Lumineux timepieces. Today, this savoir-faire continues with creations that celebrate personal symbolism and the timeless allure of the stars.

About Van Cleef & Arpels:

Founded at Paris’ 22 Place Vendôme in 1906, Van Cleef & Arpels came into being following Estelle Arpels’ marriage to Alfred Van Cleef in 1895. Over the decades, the excellence and creativity of the High Jewelry and Watchmaking Maison have established its reputation across the world. With a blend of inventiveness and poetry, Van Cleef & Arpels perpetuates a highly distinctive style that has produced numerous signatures: the Mystery Set technique, the Minaudière precious case, the transformable Zip necklace and the Alhambra motif. Its selection of gems that instill an emotion and the savoir-faire of its virtuoso craftsmen have given birth to enchanting jewelry and watchmaking collections. Whether inspired by nature, couture, dance or imaginary worlds, the Maison opens the gate to a timeless universe of beauty and harmony. The transmission of this exceptional craftsmanship, often unknown to the general public, has always been at the heart of the values of Van Cleef & Arpels. In 2012, the Maison therefore decided to create a unique entity in the world: L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts, with the aim to share the culture of jewelry with the widest possible audience, through courses, talks, exhibitions and books.
