Apple Fitness+ adds new workout programs to help you stick to your 2026 fitness goals

Every year, plenty of people promise themselves they’ll eat better and stay active, only to fall off the wagon a few weeks in. To help users stick with their fitness goals for longer, Apple is rolling out a fresh lineup of Apple Fitness+ content designed to make staying consistent a little easier.

Starting today, Apple Fitness+ subscribers get access to three new multi-week workout plans designed around different workout types, including strength training, HIIT, and yoga. The “Make Your Fitness Comeback” program focuses on all three and offers a four-week plan featuring three 10-minute workouts per week for each type. It’s designed to help users ease back into a workout routine without burning out.

The “Build a Yoga Habit” program also offers a four-week plan that aims to help users incorporate yoga routines into their fitness regime. Apple says these workouts are designed to “increase flexibility, cut down on stress, and build strength and stability.” The plan includes two 10-minute flows per week that complement existing workout routines and help users build a habit.

The “Back-to-Back Strength and HIIT” program pairs 10 minutes of strength training with 10 minutes of HIIT three times per week over the course of three weeks. It’s designed to be done one after the other with no breaks in between to help users build power and endurance.

Lastly, the “Strength Basics” program is for users new to strength training, and offers a three-week plan consisting of three workouts per week, each focusing on a different part of the body. The program will launch on January 12, and it’s designed to help users master fundamental lifts and build confidence with proper form.

New artist spotlights, Time to Walk episodes, and Apple Watch awards

Along with the new workout programs, Apple is refreshing its Artist Spotlight series with new playlists and sessions featuring music from Karol G and Bad Bunny. The company has also introduced a new season of Time to Walk audio with celebrity guests like Penn Badgley, Mel B, and Michelle Monaghan.

For Apple Watch users, there’s also a limited-edition “Ring in the New Year” award for closing three activity rings for seven days straight and a “Quit Quitting” challenge on Strava that rewards them for logging 12 workouts in January.

If you’d like to get in on the action, you can subscribe to Apple Fitness+ for $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year. You can share the subscription with up to five family members, making it easier to stay motivated together in 2026.
