Rowad ME General Contracting L.L.C. – S.P.C., UAE branch of Rowad Modern Engineering, has been awarded the main works contract for the Marina Apartments project on Ramhan Island, Abu Dhabi, for Eagle Hills Properties, under the consultancy supervision of Mirage Leisure & Development.
The project represents one of the key residential components of the Marina district within the Ramhan Island masterplan, an integrated waterfront destination combining premium residences with retail, dining, leisure facilities and open spaces. The development is expected to contribute to the activation of Abu Dhabi’s waterfront, broaden the Emirate’s exclusive real estate offering, and further strengthen its appeal as a leading regional destination for living, investment and tourism.

ROWAD’s scope of work encompasses structural and architectural works, finishes and fully integrated modern electromechanical systems, in addition to façade maintenance units, signage and landscaping works.
The company will also execute infrastructure works within the project boundaries, including utility connections to external networks, testing and commissioning, through to final handover. This integrated scope reflects ROWAD’s expertise in managing multidisciplinary developments and coordinating civil, architectural, MEP and infrastructure works under a unified execution program, while maintaining stringent requirements for quality, sustainability, safety and the technical standards associated with premium real estate developments.

The Marina Apartments project comprises two residential towers, complemented by parking facilities with a total capacity of 443 spaces. The development also features parking podiums topped by retail units, restaurants, cafés, and 187 residential units, enhancing the integrated character of the waterfront destination within Ramhan Island’s Marina district.
