Sri Lanka’s cabinet has approved a proposal to downgrade the island nation’s economic status to “low income country”, in order to get access to concessional funding from international organisations, the cabinet spokesman said on Tuesday. Authorities in Dubai have reduced the speed limit of a key stretch on Al Ittihad Road. Effective November 20, authorities will reduce the speed limit on the stretch between Sharjah and Al Garhoud Bridge from 100kmph to 80kmph.
