A torrential rainstorm lashed the eastern region of Sharjah, prompting the evacuation of 61 families to safety. The Sharjah Housing Department announced on Wednesday that families affected by the rains in the emirate have been relocated and provided shelter in four hotels. Shariah-compliant Ajman Bank on Wednesday said its total operating income reached Dh1.56 billion in 2023 as compared to Dh942 million in 2022, an increase of 66 per cent.
