Shaffra takes Autonomous AI Teams beyond the GCC, expands into the Caspian Region

UAE- August 05,  2026: Shaffra, the GCC-born AI Workforce Platform building Autonomous AI Teams for enterprises and governments, has expanded beyond the GCC for the first time, bringing its AI workforce expertise to the Caspian region. The company has opened a regional headquarters in Azerbaijan, introducing three enterprise AI workforce solutions: the AI Call Center, AI Sales Center, and AI Project Manager solutions.

The expansion builds on Shaffra’s growth across the GCC, particularly in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where the company has worked with enterprises and governments to successfully deploy Autonomous AI Teams designed to support real business functions. Having established its AI workforce model in the GCC, Shaffra is now extending its expertise internationally as organisations globally look for practical ways to integrate AI employees into their operations.

The Caspian region continues to strengthen its digital and innovation ecosystem. Azerbaijan, as one of the region’s emerging technology markets, has seen rapid growth with 200 startups calling the country home. The global agentic AI market is projected to skyrocket to $93.20 billion by 2032, creating a stronger foundation for Shaffra’s global expansion.

The Caspian office builds on Shaffra’s Enterprise AI Workforce Platform and its Subconscious AI cognitive architecture, which enables AI employees to retain stronger memory, context and operational understanding across enterprise workflows. Through this architecture, organisations can design, deploy, govern and orchestrate Autonomous AI Teams with clearer roles, stronger reasoning efficiency and better continuity across business operations.

Alharith Alatawi, CEO and Co-Founder of Shaffra, said: “Opening in the Caspian region is an important first step for Shaffra, because it shows that demand for Autonomous AI Teams is rising beyond the GCC. Enterprises and governments are looking for AI employees who can operate inside real workflows, carry clear responsibilities, and support measurable outcomes. As this market develops, the ability to deploy Autonomous AI Teams efficiently will become just as important as autonomy itself. Shaffra is focused on markets that can support token-efficient and energy-efficient AI deployment, because this is what drives down the cost per compute, the cost per action, and the overall economics of how AI functions at scale. Azerbaijan gives Shaffra a strong entry point into the Caspian region as organisationsmodernise how work is designed, delivered, and governed.”

Shaffra’s AI Call Center will operate as an autonomous AI employee for inbound and outbound customer interactions. It manages the call journey from enquiry handling to ticket creation and follow-up, while supporting communication through phone and WhatsApp, alongside SMS and email, websites and dashboards, so service teams can improve efficiency without adding operational pressure.

Shaffra’s AI Sales Center will engage prospects across customer channels and support sales teams from first contact through conversion. Its role covers lead qualification, meeting booking, follow-up automation and sales performance monitoring across WhatsApp and websites, as well as email, phone and social channels, helping businesses generate more qualified opportunities and reduce lost sales.

Shaffra’s AI Project Manager will help enterprises coordinate workflows and project delivery inside existing operating environments. The AI employee tracks progress, follows up with stakeholders, identifies delivery risks and strengthens accountability, while integrating with enterprise project management and communication systems to improve execution visibility and operational efficiency.

Following more than 2 million work hours saved monthly in 2025 through its Autonomous AI Teams, Shaffra will use Azerbaijan as the first step in a broader international expansion beyond the GCC, supported by additional partnerships in other Caspian countries. Backed by stc, Omantel and global technology leaders after raising more than $10 million, Shaffra is taking its autonomous workforce model into a market where enterprise and government demand for practical AI deployment is widening.

The company will continue introducing enterprise AI employees across customer service and sales, as well as operations, HR and project management, reinforcing its vision of building Autonomous AI Teams for enterprises and governments internationally.

The next workforce conversation for enterprise and government leaders starts here: visithttps://shaffra.com/ to explore how Shaffra’s Autonomous AI Teams can be deployed across real operations.
