Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 10 August 2026:Dubai Airports is inviting guests to swap waiting at the gate for walking through the world’s busiest international airport, as DXB joins Dubai’s citywide wellbeing initiative, Dubai Mallathon. On Friday, 14 August DXB will host a community walk, giving guestsan unforgettableshared experience of movement, connection and wellbeing.
The walk will take place in two sessions, from 07:30to 09:30 AM and 09:30 to 11:30 AM, at Terminal 3, Concourse B, allowing participants to join at a time that best fits their journey. Each session will bring together Dubai Airports employees, oneDXB community partners, and gueststransferring through DXBfor an inspiring morning, with an option to join either a 1.5km or 750m course.
Launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, Dubai Mallathon is a citywide fitness initiative to help residents and visitors stay active during the hotter months of summer. At DXB, that spirit takes flight between boarding calls asguests will have the chance to recharge, move and connect, a small but powerful reminder that community and care can find their way into even the most fast-paced corners of daily life.
Guests of all abilities and ages transiting through or waiting at DXB are invited to join the walk at Terminal 3, Concourse B, on Friday. Participation is free, and no registration is required, just head to the Family Zone area by Gate B28 and start your walk at the world’s busiest international airport!
