Engineering companies VOLTS Energy Limited and CC7 have signed an MoU for joint project implementation.

On December 5, 2023, VOLTS Energy Limited, a provider of engineering services in the field of power, low-carbon solutions, and advanced energy technologies, entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with China National Chemical Engineering No.7 Construction Company Limited (CC7).

Artem Denisov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VOLTS Energy Limited, and Eugene Smyk, CEO of the company, held a business meeting with CC7 Vice President Xie Kun during the UN Climate Change Conference COP28 in Dubai. The discussions focused on joint business development, engineering project implementation, and support for investment activities, culminating in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Artem Denisov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VOLTS Energy Limited, explained: “VOLTS Energy and CC7 combine opportunities for accessing markets and projects in the renewable energy sector. This is particularly relevant as our company actively expands its presence in the Middle East and Central Asia through key partners and clients.”

“CC7 is a global leader in EPC-F and is actively developing the new energy segment, already possessing an impressive portfolio of projects worldwide. This instills confidence in the complementarity of the partnership and the growth of presence in the markets of the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa for each of the partners,” added Eugene Smyk, CEO of VOLTS Energy Limited.

Vice President of CC7 Xie Kun remarked: “CC7 is a leading engineering & construction company in the global energy and oil & gas sectors with remarkable experience in implementing international EPC projects and an excellent project team. CC7 is actively embracing global energy transition and it is capable of providing full life cycle services starting from technical solutions until full commissioning of the project in accordance with the Customer’s needs. CC7 is ready  to build a strong collaboration with Volts and Masdar in implementing EPC projects in the field of electricity and renewable energy in the Middle East, Africa and CIS countries, aiming to make a contribution to global energy transition and sustainable development of the world”.
