Grace Agnew becomes the campaign’s 10th studio apartment winner after a purchase at Clarks in Dubai Festival City Mall

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 27 August 2026: A simple shopping trip has turned into a life-changing moment for British expat Grace Agnew, who has become the 10th winner of a studio apartment through Win Your Home in Dubai after purchasing two pairs of shoes at Clarks in Dubai Festival City Mall.

Originally from the UK, Grace moved to Dubai with her husband nearly three years ago, after living in London and working as a financial planner. She moved to the city with no expectations, unsure of what awaited her; all she wanted was to be with her husband. Today, she is enjoying the unexpected milestone of becoming a property owner in Dubai, marking the first property she has ever owned.

Grace’s winning entry came from a shopping trip to Clarks, encouraged by her mother, who had suggested she shop there during her visit to Dubai Festival City Mall. After spending AED 657.75 on two pairs of shoes, the staff at Clarks encouraged and helped her enter the Win Your Home in Dubai campaign.

Having never participated in a raffle like this before, Grace entered without expecting to win. When she found out that her receipt had been selected, the reality of winning a studio apartment came as a complete surprise. Reflecting on her win, she said: “I never thought I would actually win. This has been such a life-changing experience, and it just shows that you never know your luck. I entered for the first time without expecting anything, and now I have won a property in Dubai.”

“I’m still figuring out what I want to do with it, but it’s an amazing opportunity. It could be a place for us to use ourselves, a home office, or somewhere for our families to stay when they visit. I’m just incredibly grateful and excited to see where this takes us,” she added.

The Win Your Home in Dubai initiative, jointly led by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), a part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), and Dubai Chambers, offers shoppers the opportunity to win one of 12 new Binghatti Developers residential units across Dubai.

The final draws for Win Your Home in Dubai will take place on 30 August at Dubai Festival City Mall, marking the exciting finale of the 12-week campaign. The event will see the announcement of the 11th and final studio apartment winner, followed by the highly anticipated grand draw, where the winner of the two-bedroom apartment will be selected and announced live in front of hundreds of shoppers.

Residents and visitors have a few more days to participate, with eligible purchases and receipt uploads accepted until 12:00 PM on 30 August. Residents and visitors aged 18 and above can enter for a chance to win an apartment by spending AED 500 at any of the 1,000+ participating brands across more than 3,500 retail outlets in Dubai. To validate their entry, shoppers simply need to scan the QR code featured on official campaign materials at participating locations and upload their receipt.
