Dubai, UAE – September 9, 2025: Hotpack, the UAE-based global leader in sustainable packaging solutions, joined hands with Igloo Ice Cream for a 14-day campaign to serve ice cream to outdoor workers and delivery riders across Sharjah and Northern Emirates. Over the course of the initiative, more than 5,000 workers were served ice cream, offering them a refreshing break during one of the hottest periods of the year.
The campaign, held between August 20 and September first week, reached labour camps, roadside worker hubs, and Hotpack’s warehouses and factories in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain, and Umm Al Quwain. It builds on Hotpack’s growing portfolio of CSR activities under the Hotpack Happiness initiative, which focuses on community welfare and employee well-being. Just last month, the company partnered with the Dubai Charitable Association for its “A Breeze in the Summer” campaign, distributing ice cream, juice, and fruits to workers across Dubai.
Speaking about the campaign, Mr. Abdul Jebbar PB, Group CEO and Managing Director of Hotpack, said, “At Hotpack, we believe that true success is measured not only by business growth but also by the positive impact we create in our communities. This campaign was about more than ice cream; it was about expressing our gratitude to those who work tirelessly outdoors during the peak of summer. Partnering with Igloo allowed us to share moments of happiness and comfort with thousands of workers, reminding them that their hard work is deeply valued.”
“At its core, the campaign was designed not just as a distribution drive but as a heartfelt gesture to acknowledge the vital contributions of outdoor workers and riders who form the backbone of the UAE’s bustling cities and communities. From construction workers to delivery riders, these individuals endure challenging conditions to keep daily life moving, and Hotpack and Igloo sought to honour that effort with a simple yet thoughtful act of kindness,” he added.
Mr. Zainudeen PB, Group COO & Executive Director of Hotpack, said, “Together, these initiatives reflect Hotpack’s belief in sustainability with purpose, where caring for people, communities, and the planet go hand in hand. By joining forces with Igloo, Hotpack once again underscored its mission to create not just packaging solutions, but also meaningful human connections.”
An official at Igloo commented, “Through this partnership with Hotpack, we reinforced this vision by underlining the value of collaboration in driving meaningful impact in communities. Providing workers and riders with a refreshing treat was a simple yet powerful way to share moments of joy. We are proud to join hands with Hotpack in contributing to the community and creating a positive difference in people’s lives.”
This campaign reflects Hotpack’s belief that corporate responsibility goes beyond business operations and lies in strengthening the social fabric of the communities it serves. Both brands intend to continue building on such partnerships, reinforcing the idea that simple gestures of care can create lasting impact and foster a stronger, more connected society.
