The global marine port services market is projected to grow from USD 100.31 billion in 2026 to USD 148.93 billion by 2034

Dubai, February 6, 2026 – Jawar Al Khaleej Maritime (JAK Maritime), a leading regional provider of maritime services, celebrated its 20th anniversary at Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai. The event was attended by Eng. Baydaq Aljazaeri, Founder and Chairman, alongside the company’s team, delegates of global companies, and high-level partners. During the celebration, the company announced new projects that build on its successful track record in the maritime and offshore service sectors across the region.

In the UAE, Jawar Al Khaleej Maritime collaborated with several entities, including Dubai Petroleum and Dubai Maritime City. The company also works with prominent groups such as Bin Hilal Group in Abu Dhabi and Albwardy Damen Group on ship repair and refitting. It owns dry dock facilities in Hamriyah Free Zone Authority in Sharjah.

Previously, JAK Maritime provided floating accommodations solutions for Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO), one of ADNOC’s subsidiaries, under a nine-month offshore project in Abu Dhabi. The company successfully provided premium floating housing and marine solutions, earning the confidence of clients and regulatory bodies alike.

According to recent reports, the global marine port services market size was valued at USD 96.57 billion in 2025. The market is projected to grow from USD 100.31 billion in 2026 to USD 148.93 billion by 2034, exhibiting a CAGR of 5.06% during the forecast period. Asia Pacific dominated the marine port services market with a market share of 33.01% in 2025.

Commenting on the event, Eng. Baydaq Aljazaeri, Founder and Chairman of JAK Maritime, said: “We would like to thank everyone who joined us in celebrating our 20th anniversary. Over the coming years, we have strategic plans to expand across the region, including horizontal growth into new fields such as subsea pipeline laying and vertical expansion to increase the number of vessels under our management. These steps will further strengthen JAK Maritime’s position as one of the leading maritime service providers in the region.”

Across the region, JAK Maritime has implemented dozens of vital projects over the past two decades in several Arab countries, most notably in Iraq’s oil fields — the backbone of the Iraqi economy — where it has fully managed mooring and unmooring operations at oil terminals. Iraq’s crude oil exports have a combined operational capacity exceeding 3.5 million barrels per day. The company adheres to the highest governance standards, environmental protection commitments, and operational safety — achieving a spotless record with zero incidents.

Over the past five years, JAK Maritime has entered into strategic partnerships with Iraqi government entities such as the General Company for Ports of Iraq and the Iraqi Supreme Maritime Authority to provide monitoring and supervision services for vessel traffic within territorial waters. The company also announced during the event the launch of a new Search and Rescue Center project. JAK Maritime has also been involved in mine-clearing and rehabilitation operations in environmentally affected offshore areas near oil ports, in addition to wreck removal and port cleaning projects — such as the recent clearance and restoration of Salalah Port in Oman following severe storms. This work allowed the port to swiftly and safely resume operations.
