Abu Dhabi: Retailers and food distributors across the UAE are ramping up preparations for Eid al-Adha, one of the busiest seasons for meat sales in the region, as demand for fresh meat is expected to surge during the festive period.

Leading retail groups, including Lulu Group, have already activated logistics operations to ensure uninterrupted supply across their outlets. As part of its Eid preparations, Lulu has arranged special chartered flights to bring in fresh meat supplies from key international markets.

Lulu said all products are procured from accredited farms and slaughterhouses that comply with strict halal practices and international food safety standards.
