Mr. Rizwan Sajan, Founder & Chairman, Danube Group: “For over three decades, Dubai has been my home, and I will always stand by this extraordinary city. While no place in the world is perfect, even in challenging times like these, we continue to feel safe and secure in Dubai.

Mr. Rizwan Sajan, Founder & Chairman of Danube Group

We have overcome crises before – from the 2008 financial downturn to COVID – and have emerged stronger each time. Resilience is embedded in Dubai’s DNA, and I am confident that our economy will continue to grow and thrive. Our leadership is doing everything possible to ensure that citizens and expats feel protected and at home.

Danube Group remains committed to supporting the government’s efforts and contributing to the city’s continued success. So far, we have been fortunate to accommodate more than 450 stranded people in Danube buildings and hotels. We will continue extending our support to many more in need.

As for the real estate market, at this stage the impact appears to be driven more by sentiment than by any fundamental structural shift. It would be premature to draw any long-term conclusions at this point. While developments like these can create temporary uncertainty, the underlying fundamentals remain resilient. I remain confident in a steady and sustainable path of growth ahead.”
