Nakheel celebrates UAE Union Day with live cultural performances and workshops
Visitors can enjoy live entertainment and engaging activities at Nakheel Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, and Circle Mall
Dubai, 22 November 2023 … This UAE Union Day, Nakheel invites visitors to commemorate the country’s rich heritage at Nakheel Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall and Circle Mall. Visitors can take part in free-of-charge workshops and themed activities as they enjoy immersive cultural showcases from 25 November to 3 December.
‘UAE Reimagined’ AI exhibition at Nakheel Mall
To mark the celebration of the UAE’s Union Day, Nakheel Mall is partnering with Future Bedouin, a leading digital art and marketing studio, to host a nine-day exhibition with AI generated artworks, that pay homage to the UAE’s proud history while pushing the boundaries of imagination.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the convergence of art and technology, as iconic landmarks on Palm Jumeirah – including the Palm Monorail, The View Palm Jumeirah and Palm West Beach – are reimagined. Each piece is meticulously crafted to evoke a sense of familiarity and deep-rooted cultural connections while projecting the future landscape of the UAE.
Visitors can experience the AI art exhibition from 25 November to 3 December, from 10 am to 10 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 12 am on weekends at Nakheel Mall.
Interactive activities and workshops at Ibn Battuta Mall
In the spirit of celebration, children of all ages can enjoy interactive workshops, such as a rock-painting experience, making a bookend marker and designing and creating a sock puppet. There are also pot painting workshops, design your own t-shirt workshops and the opportunity to experience the traditional craft of Khoos weaving, as they learn techniques for creating beautiful objects from baskets to mats. Fun roaming activities including carrom tables and traditional henna art stations will engage visitors across the three days.

UAE’s Union Day comes alive with cultural performances at Ibn Battuta and Circle Mall
Celebrate UAE Union Day at Ibn Battuta Mall and Circle Mall, where visitors can immerse themselves in the nation’s heritage with traditional live performances including the Emirati Yola dance, a Liwa drum band, and a special appearance by Modesh & Dana.
