Nomad’s orange wallet tracker makes the AirTag look chunky and underdressed

Most phones accessories are built to be useful, but some look pretty while doing it. And Nomad’s latest limited-edition drop is trying a little harder. The company has launched Stellar Orange collection, which includes new versions of two existing products, namely Tracking Card Pro and the Stand One charger.

The best part? The color is matched to Apple’s latest Cosmic Orange iPhone. This already tells you exactly who this is for. People tend to color-match their gadgets to seem more coherent or seamless, and your wireless charging stand and wallet tracker want to join in as well. While it might not be essential, the consistency in looks does make it oddly satisfying.

Wallet tracker is both playful and useful

The more practical product here is the Tracking Card Pro, priced at $39. It works with Apple’s Find My network and is designed to slide into a wallet like a credit card. Nomad lists it at 85mm x 54mm x 2.5mm, with a 15g weight, a polycarbonate-and-aluminum body, with IPX7 protection.

Its biggest advantage over an AirTag is its design. Unlike Apple’s own smart tag, the Tracker Card Pro slips into your wallet seamlessly, rather than having to shove a thick tracker into a wallet. You don’t have to carry a coin-shaped lump anymore. Best part is that this flat form factor works well with MagSafe card wallets as well as card holders.

Nomad Stand One and Tracking Card Pro together

Nomad promises up to 16 months on a single full charge, and the card can even be topped up wirelessly using a Qi or MagSafe charger. All of this sounds great, but there’s a catch. It does not support Precision Finding, since Apple still doesn’t allow Ultra Wideband access for third-part trackers.

Shiny new desk charging setup

Nomad Stand One is a Qi2 wireless charger

The Stand One Stellar Orange is the flashier part of the drop, which costs $135. You get a metal-and-glass Qi2 charger with up to 25W wireless charging for MagSafe and Qi2 devices, plus a rear 5W charging spot for AirPods or other Qi-compatible earbuds. It supports iPhone StandBy mode, weighs 575g, includes a 2-meter USB-C cable, and requires a 40W USB-C power adapter that is not included. This variant costs around $10 more the regular black and silver options, but brings that orange iPhone hue.
