The company is advancing digital integration, regional collaboration and service network capabilities to deliver faster, smarter and more consistent customer support.

UAE; 5th Aug 2026 — Panasonic Middle East & Africa hosted its Customer Service (CS) Strategy Conference 2026, a virtual forum that brought together representatives from Panasonic Middle East & Africa, its business partners, Panasonic overseas business division and Global Customer Service Headquarters to review FY25 performance and align on priorities for FY26.

Anthony Peter, Director, Customer and Product Solutions Division (CPSD), Panasonic Middle East & Africa

The annual conference reaffirmed Panasonic’s commitment to strengthening after-sales service standards, enhancing collaboration across its service network, and delivering exceptional customer experiences across the region. A key focus of the conference was reviewing the current customer service landscape and identifying strategies to further enhance service delivery for Panasonic customers.

The highlight of the event was the STAR Service Competition and Performance Awards, recognizing business partners whose service centres demonstrated outstanding performance during FY25. This year’s competition featured more stringent evaluation criteria, with greater emphasis placed on digital transformation initiatives, including the implementation of system integrations and technology-driven service enhancements. The elevated standards raised the level of competition considerably, resulting in Bronze Awards only being presented this year.

The FY25 STAR Award recipients were:

• Ghamdan Trading Company W.L.L. (Qatar)

• Oman Marketing and Services Company (OMASCO) (Oman)

• Modern Electronics Company Ltd. (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia)

Commenting on the challenging criteria set this year, Anthony Peter, Director, Customer and Product Solutions Division (CPSD), Panasonic Middle East & Africa, said “Our business partners are at the heart of Panasonic’s customer experience, directly shaping the service journey of our end customers. With enhanced evaluation criteria focused on digital integration and operational excellence, we continue to raise service standards across our network. These awards recognize our partners’ commitment to delivering service excellence and exceptional customer experiences,”

The conference focused on navigating the evolving challenges across the region while strengthening service capabilities and enhancing the end-customer experience. Discussions highlighted the forward strategy for FY26, emphasizing innovation, digital transformation, and collaboration with partners to deliver higher levels of service excellence.

“The Customer Service Strategy Conference provides an important opportunity to strengthen collaboration across our regional service network and ensure we are aligned on our priorities for the year ahead. The progress achieved during FY25 reflects the dedication of our teams and business partners, whose commitment continues to enhance the customer experience across the Middle East and Africa. Congratulations to Ghamdan Trading Company, Omasco, and Modern Electronics Co. Ltd. on their well-deserved recognition. Their achievements exemplify the high service standards and customer focus we strive to deliver throughout our network,” said John Hardy, Chief Executive Officer of Panasonic Middle East & Africa.

As Panasonic continues to strengthen its after-sales service capabilities, the company remains focused on working closely with its business partners and global teams to drive operational excellence, support sustainable business growth, and deliver greater value to customers across the Middle East and Africa.
