Amazon’s biggest shopping event of the year will return. Amazon announced today that Prime Day 2025 will be in July.

The confirmation of another Prime Day isn’t exactly a surprise, as last year’s Prime Day was the most successful so far, according to Amazon. Here’s everything you need to know to prepare for your next successful Prime Day.

When is Prime Day 2025?

The exact dates of Prime Day 2025 have not yet been announced. If Amazon follows the same pattern as 2024, the exact dates will likely be announced in late June. Prime Day 2024 was on July 16 and 17, and the company only confirmed those dates on June 25. Every Prime Day since 2021 has taken place in late June or July.

We will keep you updated on the latest news from Amazon, including any announcements for official Prime Day dates.

Do you need to be a Prime member to get Prime Day deals?

Not necessarily. Amazon certainly has Prime member exclusive deals, so if you’re not a member you may miss out on some sales. This is especially true for official Amazon products, such as Kindles, Echoes, and Fire TVs.

On the other hand, anyone who sells products on Amazon can elect to participate in Prime Day. All they have to do is reduce prices during the event. We will see Prime Day TV deals, Prime Day laptop deals, Prime Day smart home deals, and so much more from companies across the spectrum.

That doesn’t even include the other retailers who will compete with Prime Day. Best Buy and Walmart, who each have their own Prime-style membership offers, always have some sort of sale on the same days as Prime Day. When Prime Day does come around, we will keep you updated on the best deals from all of these retailers, not just Amazon.

If you don’t have Amazon Prime, consider timing an Amazon Prime free trial with the sale. The currently have a 30-day free trial.

What will be on sale during Prime Day?

Virtually everything will be on sale during Prime Day. As a tech website, we will be focusing on TVs, headphones, soundbars, laptops, desktops, monitors, gaming gear, and a lot more. We pay special attention to any deals on products our review team has given high scores to.

But all in all, if you can find it on Amazon, it will be on sale. Stick around for more news on the best Prime Day deals of 2025.

What countries have Prime Day?

According to Amazon’s press release, these are the countries that will have access to Prime Day deals:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the US, and the UK.
