New World and Executive cards give UAE businesses greater visibility and control over travel, procurement and day-to-day operating expenditure

05 October 2026: United Arab Bank (UAB) P.J.S.C. (“UAB” or “the Bank”), today announced the launch of corporate credit card offering for Corporates in collaboration with Mastercard, expanding the Bank’s digital payment capabilities for businesses across the UAE.

The launch addresses the growing demand among corporates for greater visibility and control over business expenditure as payments become increasingly digital .

The programme comprises two products: the UAB Mastercard World Corporate Credit Card and the UAB Mastercard Executive Corporate Credit Card, both designed to meet distinct business spending requirements.

Powered by Network International’s payment-processing and technology capabilities, the cards can be managed through a centralized Self-Service Portal, that provides real-time transaction visibility, configurable spending limits, user-level controls and consolidated reporting.

The UAB Mastercard World Corporate Credit Card is designed for senior executives and frequent business travellers, combining global acceptance with travel-related privileges including airport lounge access, global roaming support and travel insurance, subject to applicable programme terms and eligibility requirements.

The UAB Mastercard Executive Corporate Credit Card is tailored to day-to-day operating expenditure, including procurement, supplier payments, government transactions and other corporate spending requirements.

Shirish Bhide, Chief Executive Officer of United Arab Bank, said: “Corporates are vital to the UAE’s economic growth, and their evolving needs call for simpler, smarter and more efficient banking solutions. By providing greater visibility and control over business expenditure, we are helping our clients manage their finances more effectively while retaining the flexibility to grow. This initiative reflects UAB’s commitment to delivering digital payment solutions that support the ambitions and long-term growth of our customers.”

Nael Mourad, Head of Corporate Banking at United Arab Bank, said: “The UAB Corporate Credit Card is designed to give businesses greater control, visibility, and flexibility in managing their day-to-day expenditure. By bringing together UAB’s banking capabilities with Mastercard’s global payment expertise, we are enabling our corporate clients to manage business spending more efficiently, strengthen financial controls and make better-informed cash-flow decisions.”

The relationship brings together UAB’s banking capabilities with Mastercard’s payment solutions, global network and portfolio of value-added services.
