There are some high-profile shows returning with new seasons this month, like Yellowstone (Peacock), Silo (Apple TV+), Cobra Kai (Netflix), and Bad Sisters (Apple TV+) as well as new shows everyone is talking about like Cross (Amazon Prime Video), Dune: Prophecy (Max), and the TV adaptation of Cruel Intentions (Amazon Prime Video). But there are also some hidden gems you might not have heard of, or didn’t realizing were premiering this month.

Don’t let these three hidden November streaming TV shows fly under the radar. With impressive casts that include everyone from Eddie Redmayne to Jon Hamm and Demi Moore, and one show hailing from the creator of Yellowstone, these are series you won’t want to miss.

Need more recommendations? Then check out the best new shows to stream this week, as well as the best shows on Netflix, the best shows on Hulu, the best shows on Amazon Prime Video, the best shows on Max, and the best shows on Disney+.

The Day of the Jackal (2024)

The Day of the Jackal | Official Trailer | Peacock Original

Starring Eddie Redmayne, The Day of the Jackal has already received positive reception from its debut in the U.K., but the series has not gotten a lot of attention yet leading up to its premiere in the U.S. The central characters are a British assassin known only as the “Jackal” (Redmayne) and intelligence officer Bianca (Lashana Lynch, The Marvels) whose mission is to capture him. While the story is based on the classic 1971 novel written by Frederick Forsyth, The Day of the Jackal is a modern-day reimagining with a 21st century twist.

Redmayne captures the essence of the titular character, a mimic who takes on various personas to complete the jobs for which he’s hired. But he meets a formidable opponent in Lynch’s Bianca, a fierce MI6 firearms expert who will stop at nothing to follow the breadcrumbs in hopes of discovering his identity and taking him down herself. With a solid 90% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, Barbara Ellen from Observer (UK) describes The Day of the Jackal as being like a “Mission: Impossible film marathon” and says it’s “classily done and, like the Jackal himself, takes no prisoners.”

Stream The Day of the Jackal on Peacock.

Landman (2024)

Landman | Official Trailer | Paramount+

Hailing from Taylor Sheridan, co-creator of Yellowstone, Landman has a similar premise of dueling factions, except this time, it’s centered around the world of oil rigs. Set in West Texas, the show stars Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, a crisis executive at an oil company trying to navigate the complicated business of an industry that involves a diverse set of players with differing interests, from roughnecks to impulsive billionaires.

Landman has an incredible cast that also includes Ali Larter, The Substance‘s Demi Moore, Jon Hamm, Andy Garcia, and Michael Peña. It could very well be the best upcoming series this month you hadn’t even heard of yet. It’s no surprise that even ahead of its first season release, Landman has already received a second-season renewal.

Stream Landman on Paramount+.

Interior Chinatown (2024)

Interior Chinatown | Official Trailer | Hulu

Jimmy O. Yang (Silicon Valley) heads up this series that counts Taika Waititi among its executive producers. Interior Chinatown is based on the novel of the same name about Willis Wu (Yang), a struggling character actor. He has worked on numerous police procedurals, but he’s always a background character, never getting his moment in the spotlight. His life changes in a heartbeat, however, when one day, he is recruited to help on a real-life case.

He is now thrust into a world of excitement he has been longing for, but the underground criminal world of Chinatown is no joke, posing real threats. Still, Willis has finally gotten what he wanted: He’s officially in the spotlight. Plus, he might finally solve a years-long family mystery in the process.

With all 10 episodes streaming at once, Interior Chinatown could become your next binge obsession. Keep an eye out for more familiar faces among the cast, including Ronny Chieng (The Daily Show), Chloé Bennet (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Canadian YouTuber Lisa Gilroy, and Archie Kao (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation).

Stream Interior Chinatown on Hulu.
