RIT Dubai and Fincasa Ventures Sign MOU to Drive Innovation, Fintech Collaboration, and Student Opportunities

New partnership to promote research, education and entrepreneurship

Dubai, UAE — [September 08,2025] Rochester Institute of Technology of Dubai (RIT Dubai) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Fincasa Ventures LLC, a leading firm in corporate services and innovation funding, to advance collaboration in education, research, and the development of the UAE’s innovation ecosystem.

The agreement sets out a framework for cooperation in internships, student placements, research, consultancy, and joint seminars, with a particular focus on innovation funding and start-up sponsorships. Fincasa Ventures aims to back RIT Dubai’s student and alumni start-ups, providing pathways for sponsorship and growth.

As a company deeply involved in Fintech and financial services, Fincasa Ventures will also bring industry expertise to RIT Dubai students, preparing them for the evolving demands of the digital economy.

RIT Dubai and Fincasa Ventures sign MoU

Commenting on this partnership, Dr. Yousef Al Assaf – President of RIT Dubai, said, “This collaboration expands our growing ecosystem by engaging key partners from the financial sector. Together, we aim to create opportunities for our students, support the next generation of entrepreneurs, and contribute to Dubai’s vision of becoming a global hub for innovation.”

Mr. Varis Sayed – CEO of Fincasa Ventures, commented, “It is a privilege to collaborate with RIT Dubai, a leading institution known for academic excellence and innovation. At Fincasa Ventures, we believe in empowering the next generation of visionaries through real-world exposure, mentorship, and entrepreneurial support.”

He added, “As we align with RIT Dubai’s mission, this partnership is not only a reflection of our commitment to nurturing talent and advancing fintech innovation, but also a step towards building a more dynamic and sustainable future for the UAE and beyond. Through this partnership, employees of Fincasa Ventures will also gain access to RIT Dubai’s undergraduate, graduate, and other programs, with special scholarships and professional development opportunities.

This MOU reflects RIT Dubai’s commitment to fostering strong industry connections that enhance student learning, empower innovation, and build sustainable impact in the UAE.
