Eureka! PACE Group Ignites a Scientific Revolution with its 9th GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ for Most People Doing Scientific Experiments Simultaneously with 6,000 Students, Parents, and Community

Sharjah, UAE — November 25, 2025

Guided by the visionary dreams of the late Dr. P.A. Ibrahim Haji, PACE Group has always believed that education is more than textbooks—it is the discovery of curiosity, the spark of imagination, and knowledge coming into action. Today, in alignment with the UAE’s vision for a knowledge-based, innovative, and sustainable society, and inspired by the Year of the Family 2026, over 6,000 participants transformed a football field into the UAE’s largest Live Lab of Discovery, celebrating science, learning, and imagination.

At the ring of the bell, the entire ground came alive, turning into a Live Lab of Discovery where curiosity sparks imagination, knowledge transforms into action, and the joy of experimentation was visible, heard, and shared by thousands. Families, students, and educators became part of a living experiment, exploring chemistry, physics, biology, and environmental science together.

This bold vision was conceptualized by Ms. Shifana Muizz, Vice Principal, and Ms. Safa Azad, Assistant Director, and brought to life with the support and guidance of Directors Mr. Aseef Mohammed, Mr. Latheef Ibrahim, Mr. Shafi Ibrahim, Mr. Abdullah Ibrahim, Mr. Ameen Ibrahim, Mr. Salman Ibrahim,Mr. Zubair Ibrahim, Mr. Bilal Ibrahim, and Mr. Adil Ibrahim. Their leadership ensured that the spark of curiosity ignited a scientific explosion of discovery and enthusiasm.

The principals leading the participating schools were:

            •           Dr. Nasreen Banu – Gulf Asian English School, Sharjah

            •           Dr. Manju Reji – India International School, Sharjah

            •           Mr. Muhsin Kattayat – PACE International School, Sharjah

            •           Mr. John Bagust – PACE British School, Sharjah

            •           Mr. Graham Howell – PACE Modern British School

            •           Dr. Vishal Kataria – Delhi Private School, Ajman

            •           Ms. Flavia Monthy Castelino – PACE Creative British School, Ajman

Students became hands-on scientists conducting experiments such as Walking Water, Elephant Toothpaste, Volcanoes, Lava Lamps, Inflating Balloons, Fizzy Fun, Density Experiments, Milk Fireworks, Surface Tension Activities, Invisible Ink, pH Level Indicators, Redox Reactions, Travelling Water, Chromatography, Automatic Water Fountain, Iodine Starch Clock Reaction, Bubbles with Water, Density Rainbows, and more. The bubbling beakers, colorful reactions, and swirling solutions turned learning into magic, engaging the curiosity and creativity of every participant.

Parents and families joined the celebrations, supporting their children and sharing the joy of discovery. All safety protocols were rigorously followed—students wore lab coats, gloves, and safety goggles, ensuring a safe and thrilling environment for experimentation.

This record-breaking initiative also commemorated the UAE’s 54th National Day, its sustainability goals, and the Year of the Family 2026, reflecting a vision of knowledge-driven, sustainable progress.

The 9th GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ was achieved with meticulous planning and collaboration across the PACE community. Students from across the PACE network, guided by their principals, came together to make history and showcase the power of collaborative, inclusive learning. The achievement was verified by official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ adjudicators, ensuring every participant’s effort was recognized globally.

This achievement is a proud tribute to the enduring legacy of late Dr. P.A. Ibrahim Haji, whose vision for accessible, world-class education continues to guide every milestone at PACE. His dream of transforming education into a global movement of empowerment, inclusivity, and excellence is being carried forward through initiatives like Silviora and the Live Lab of Discovery.

Over the years, PACE Group has built a remarkable record-breaking legacy, including:

            •           2017 – Largest Human Image of a Boat

            •           2018 – Largest Human Image of a Coffee Pot & Largest Transforming Human Image

            •           2019 – Largest Human Image of a Rocket

            •           2020 – Largest Online Video Chain of People Passing a Flag

            •           2021 – Most Contributions to a Handprint Mural

            •           2023 – Largest Human Image of Planet Earth

            •           2024 – Most People Painting Tote Bags Simultaneously

            •           2025 – Most People Doing Scientific Experiments Simultaneously

The Live Lab of Discovery demonstrated that learning is about creating experiences that ignite curiosity, foster collaboration, and empower young minds to become tomorrow’s innovators, problem-solvers, and world-changers.

With over 5035 participants from over 25 nationalities, the day proved that curiosity sparks imagination, knowledge comes to life, and the community can come together to create history. The event will be remembered as a day when science leapt from pages to life, a day when curiosity became action, and a day that carried forward the legacy of Dr. P.A. Ibrahim Haji for generations to come.
