CASIO introduces a new limited edition Hammered heritage model, the New MRG-B5000HT — A Masterpiece of Japanese Craftsmanship

Dubai, UAE — November 2025: CASIO Middle East & Africa proudly announces the launch of the MR-G B5000HT, a new addition to the prestigious G-SHOCK MR-G collection — the brand’s pinnacle line that unites traditional Japanese craftsmanship with cutting-edge innovation. This limited-edition masterpiece, inspired by the first G-SHOCK design, is released alongside the signature MRG-B5000, further enriching the MR-G lineup for collectors and connoisseurs across the region.

A Heritage Reimagined — The MRG-B5000HT

Limited to only 500 pieces worldwide, each with a serial number.

The MR-G B5000HT pays tribute to the original G-SHOCK with an extraordinary expression of detail. Its bezel and bracelet are meticulously hand-hammered using the traditional “Tsuiki” technique by Japanese master craftsman Kazuya Watanabe, giving each piece a one-of-a-kind texture that reflects centuries of artisanal metalwork.

Constructed from DAT55G titanium alloy — three times harder than pure titanium — the watch embodies both resilience and refinement. The oborogin silver-gray F DLC finish coating evokes the subtle glow of ancient sword fittings, while deep copper accents on the screws and buttons add a distinctive contrast, enhancing its premium aesthetic.

MRG-B5000 — The Foundation of Modern Tough Luxury

Alongside the limited edition, the MRG-B5000 continues to stand as the foundation of the MR-G series. Crafted entirely from titanium and featuring multi-band 6 radio-controlled timekeeping, Bluetooth® Smartphone Link, and Tough Solar power, it represents the seamless fusion of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology.

Both models embody the spirit of “Takumi” — Japanese mastery in precision and design — delivering the ultimate expression of G-SHOCK’s “Tough Luxury” philosophy.

Availability

The MR-G B5000HT and MR-G B5000 are available at selected G-SHOCK stores and selected authorized retailers across the Middle East & Africa.
