Galaxy S26 Ultra leak shows the colors you can expect, but orange isn’t included

Alongside upgraded specs and features, Samsung’s annual Galaxy S series refresh also brings new color options. The upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup likely won’t be different in that regard, with previous leaks pointing to a striking orange colorway, seemingly inspired by the iPhone 17 Pro‘s Cosmic Orange finish. However, a fresh leak suggests this might not be the signature color for the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Every year, Samsung launches a signature colorway for its top-end flagship, which takes center stage in its marketing material. When the orange variant first surfaced in leaks last year, it was widely expected to be the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s signature color. However, a recent post from tipster Ice Universe on X makes no mention of this colorway.

The latest leak offers an early look at the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s SIM tray, revealing four color options: black, white, blue, and purple. A separate post from X user Ahmed Qwaider indicates that the purple/violet option will be the signature color for this year’s lineup, and the orange variant won’t be among the standard color choices.

The orange Galaxy S26 Ultra may still arrive

This doesn’t mean that Samsung won’t offer the orange variant at all. In addition to the standard colors, the company typically releases a few extra colorways for its flagships that are available exclusively through its online store. It’s still possible the orange option could be offered as a Samsung.com exclusive. However, we’ll have to wait until the official announcement to know for sure.

Along with information about the signature color, Qwaider’s post suggests that the Galaxy S26 could feature a 6.3-inch display, a 4,300mAh battery, and support for 25W fast charging. The Plus model might house a 4,900mAh battery with 45W fast charging, while the Ultra variant could offer a 5,000mAh battery and 60W fast charging support.

Samsung is reportedly targeting a late February launch for the Galaxy S26 series, though the company has not made anything official yet. An official announcement for the next big Galaxy Unpacked event is expected in the coming weeks.
