Apollonia and Synergy Sign Strategic MoU with Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Special Education to Enhance Autism Care in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi – May 1, 2026

In a step reflecting its leadership in advancing specialized healthcare services, the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Special Education announced the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Apollonia and Synergy Dental Centers. The partnership aims to enhance oral healthcare for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and was formalized during a scientific conference held at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers.

The collaboration aligns with a shared vision to build an integrated oral healthcare ecosystem based on the latest scientific practices and international standards, contributing to improving the quality of life for children of determination.

The conference, held under the theme “Enhancing the Wellbeing of Autism Patients in Oral Health and Building Comprehensive Healthcare Services,” featured a series of specialized scientific sessions. These sessions addressed key challenges in treating children with autism in dental clinics, while also highlighting effective communication strategies and the sensory factors that influence their treatment experience.

In this context, Dr. Yasser Haj Hameed, Founder and CEO of Apollonia and Synergy Group, stated:

“We see this partnership as a pivotal milestone in advancing healthcare services tailored for children with autism. Through this initiative, we are working to develop a comprehensive model that integrates medical expertise, scientific knowledge, and specialized training to deliver oral healthcare services in line with global best practices. Our commitment is to create a sustainable impact that enhances the quality of life for children and their families, while elevating the standards of comprehensive healthcare within the community.”

He added that the partnership will focus on implementing specialized training programs and workshops, strengthening scientific research, and enhancing the skills of healthcare professionals, alongside raising awareness among parents, educators, and caregivers.

This initiative reflects Apollonia’s commitment to its social responsibility and its continuous efforts to redefine comprehensive healthcare concepts, in line with the UAE’s vision of empowering people of determination and improving their quality of life.

The event concluded with an emphasis on the importance of integrating efforts between the healthcare and education sectors to ensure the sustainability of such initiatives and to achieve a long-term positive impact benefiting children, their families, and the wider community.
