Phantom Blade Zero is shaping up to be one of the more interesting action games arriving this year, but apparently playing it on a regular screen isn’t quite immersive enough. VITURE has teamed up with developer S-GAME to create a special pair of XR glasses designed specifically around the game.
Called the VITURE x Phantom Blade Zero: Phantom Beast, the limited-edition glasses take VITURE’s existing Beast XR hardware and give it a dramatic makeover inspired by the game’s blend of wuxia, martial arts, and punk fantasy. They’re available to pre-order for $599 and will officially launch on October 29, alongside Phantom Blade Zero itself.
VITURE really unsheathed the special edition
Special-edition gaming hardware can sometimes amount to little more than a new color and a logo slapped on the side. VITURE and S-GAME have gone much further here. The temples feature metal detailing inspired by protagonist Soul drawing his blade, while the included neck strap carries patterns influenced by traditional wuxia imagery. Even the software has been touched, with the glasses’ on-screen menus redesigned to resemble Phantom Blade Zero’s interface.
The carrying case might be the most elaborate part. Instead of opening like a typical glasses case, it slides apart like a sword being pulled from its scabbard, revealing a bright red interior. The whole thing arrives in collector-style packaging, along with a miniature Mó Sanguine sword, artwork cards, stickers, and a themed lens cloth. Anyone who orders by November 5 also gets a scroll-style map based on the game’s world. It’s VITURE’s first collaboration with a Chinese game studio, although not its first gaming crossover. The company previously released Cyberpunk 2077-themed Luma Cyber XR glasses.

The Phantom Blade Zero treatment is mostly cosmetic, which means the underlying hardware remains the same as VITURE’s Beast XR glasses. That includes Sony Micro-OLED displays capable of creating a virtual screen measuring up to 174 inches when viewed at the equivalent of four meters away. Each eye gets a 1200p image, alongside a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,250 nits. There’s also nine-level electrochromic dimming, 3DoF spatial tracking, HARMAN-powered spatial audio, and five display modes. PC players can even use a huge 32:9 virtual display with games that support super-ultrawide resolutions.
Connecting them is relatively straightforward, too. USB-C provides direct compatibility with Windows PCs, Macs, iPhones, Android phones, and Steam Deck. Console players will need additional VITURE hardware, such as the Pro Mobile Dock for PlayStation and Xbox systems. At $599, Phantom Beast certainly isn’t an impulse-buy piece of gaming merchandise. But for someone already planning to disappear into Phantom Blade Zero’s world this October, watching Soul swing a sword across a virtual 174-inch screen sounds like a suitably over-the-top way to do it.
