From Dreams to Pages: 15-Year-Old Zahra Ahmed Unveils The Journey So Far at Dubai’s Iconic Mohammed Bin Rashid Library.

At the iconic Mohammed Bin Rashid Library in Dubai, 15-year-old Zahratul’Jannah Ahmed launched her first book, The Journey So Far, surrounded by families, educators, dignitaries and young readers.

Bringing together the experiences and lessons that have shaped Zahra, the book encourages young people to recognise their potential, build confidence and take an active role in their own growth.
In a world overflowing with information and distractions, it offers practical guidance for discovering interests, finding direction and pursuing a sense of purpose. Each chapter includes Activity and Parent Corners, extending the reading experience into reflection, family conversation and everyday action.

Zahra delivered a remarkable speech during the launch. Her principal, Mr. Wayne Howsen of The Aquila School, was also among the speakers, alongside Alia Ahmed Ajetunmobi, Fanta Diop and Amna Rehman.

The launch provided a platform for discussion through “Building Offline Skills in an Online World,” moderated by Zainab Al Hameed, with panellists Ettan Ehsan, Amna Rehman and Anastazja Ukleja and Zahra herself.
Among the distinguished guests were H.E. Sheikha Dr. Hind Bint Abdulaziz Al Qassimi; Amb. Zayyan Ibrahim, Consul General of Nigeria in Dubai and the Northern Emirates; H.E. Yaqoob Al Ali; Mr. Michael Adeniyi, Senior Special Assistant to Nigeria’s Honourable Minister for Youth Development; Dr. Wedad Ahmed Bushanin, Founder and Chairperson of Read and Enjoy UAE; Mr. V. Bhushan, Managing Director of Standard Carpets Ind. LLC; and Mr. Wayne Howsen, Principal of The Aquila School.
The occasion brought reading, purpose and leadership together in a celebration of the potential of young minds.
