The Royal Oman Police have resuced an Emirati woman who was injured on a mountain in the Gulf country. According to the authority, the woman was climbing the mountain when she fell, injuring herself. A rescue operation was carried out by police personnel in a helicopter. A video shared on social media shows a policeman strapped to a stretcher on which the Emirati woman was laid out. The UAE Cabinet has issued new decisions related to tax procedures, penalties and exemptions. Under the Cabinet Decision No. (75) of 2023, administrative penalties will be imposed by the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) for violations related to corporate tax law from August 1, 2023, on taxable persons, whether an individual or a legal entity, who does not comply with the corporate tax law. Oman and Etihad Rail Company (OERC), the developer and operator of the UAE-Oman Rail Network, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emirates Steel Arkan, the UAE’s largest steel and building materials manufacturer, to facilitate the export of raw materials from the Sultanate of Oman to the UAE.
