Early Black Friday Garmin Watch Deals 2024: Up to $100 off

Even though Black Friday starts on November 29, which is still a while away, there are a lot of great early Black Friday deals on Garmin watches that are worth grabbing. As you may know, Garmin watches tend to be quite pricey, with some of the best Garmin Watches easily going into the thousand-dollar range. Of course, being some of the best smartwatches on the market, it makes sense, which is why we’ve gone out and collected some of our favorite early Black Friday Garmin watch deals for you below to help save you a little extra.

Garmin Forerunner 55 — $170 $200 15% off

If you’re an avid runner and want something that’s specially made to track that, then the Forerunner 55 is a great budget-oriented option that won’t break the bank. For $170 instead of the usual $200, you get a variety of tracks, such as Vo2 Max and resting heart rate, internal storage of 32Gb, and water resistance down to 165 feet.

Garmin vívoactive 5 — $275 $300 8%

With something that is closer to a traditional smartwatch experience while still maintaining the fitness tracking aspect, the Garmin Vivoactive 5 is a great choice for $275 instead of the usual $300. Our mobiles editor Mark Jansen said, “if you’re someone who likes to keep an eye on their heart health and stress levels while also getting in some casual runs, then the Garmin Vivoactive 5 is a solid choice.”

Garmin Forerunner 255 Music — $293 $400 27% off

The interesting thing about the Garmin Forerunner 255 Music is that it’s not only a better overall tracking watch for serious runners, but it also comes with a pretty substantial storage for music. That means you don’t have to have a separate device, such as your phone, and can focus on the music and the run, all with a substantial $107 discount.

Garmin Venu 3S GPS — $395 $450 12% off

The Garmin Venu 3S is another great option for those who want to balance a smartwatch with a fitness watch, with the 3S doing a pretty excellent job on the smartwatch side. Granted, it’s not Android-based, so there is a bit of a learning curve, but with a $55 discount, it’s worth considering if you want the best of both worlds.

Garmin Fenix 7X Pro Sapphire Solar — $900 $1000 10% off

If you want something that’s absolutely top-of-the-line, it’s hard to beat the Garmin Fenix 7X Pro Sapphire Solar, which easily competes with the likes of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 for ultra-rugged fitness tracking. It has a lot of advanced features, such as an ECG app, endurance and hill scores, a fiber-reinforced polymer case, and a $100 discount on the price.

How to Choose a Garmin Watch on Black Friday

For those who haven’t purchased or used a Garmin watch before, it’s important to know that Garmin isn’t really as into the business of making smartwatches as it is in the business of making advanced fitness trackers. That means that most of the watches from Garmin won’t give you a traditional smartwatch experience, and some may not even have touch screens. So, before taking the plunge on a Garmin device, it’s important to know what you’re getting yourself into, and if you want something that’s as much a fitness watch as it is a smartwatch, or maybe even more a fitness watch than a smartwatch.

If that’s totally fine for you, then the next thing to know is that you can get very specialized Garmin watches. For example, the Forerunner series is specifically targeted to runners and will often have apps and sensors that are good for running. On the other hand, the Venu and the Vivovactive are Garmin’s more smartwatch-focused offerings, while the Fenix lineup is made specifically for semi-extreme and extreme activities, so it’s meant to keep up with an active lifestyle. Also, some Garmin watches have Solar appended to the name, which are the ones that can charge with sunlight, although it’s not that significant to overcome just having it fully charged from an outlet.

How We Chose These Garmin Watch Black Friday Deals

Garmin’s current lineup is relatively straightforward, and the biggest issue for anybody new to Garmin is that its watches can be quite pricey. That’s why our main focus is finding deals from various retailers to ensure you’re getting the best price on any of the deals above. We lean on our years of experience as deal hunters to manage, as well as certain tools at our disposal that let us look at things like historical pricing, so at the end of the day, you know you’re getting the best bang for your buck.
