HOC and Dickenson World announce strategic partnership to advance bilingual corporate reporting across the GCC

Partnership combines HOC’s Arabic-first regional communications expertise with Dickenson World’s annual reporting, investor relations and capital markets capabilities

Dubai and Mumbai, 30 September 2026: HOC and Dickenson World have announced a strategic alliance to deliver specialist bilingual annual reporting, ESG and sustainability reporting, integrated reporting and investor communications services to organisations across the GCC.

The new partnership brings together HOC’s GCC-native strategic communications, Arabic editorial capability, cultural adaptation, terminology governance and regional stakeholder understanding; with Dickenson World’s 25 years of experience in annual report advisory, investor communications, reporting architecture, MD&A authoring, ESG and integrated reporting, peer analysis, capital markets positioning, design and production. The result is a senior-led, bilingual-by-design reporting model for listed companies, banks, sovereign-linked organisations, government-owned entities, public-sector institutions, real estate and infrastructure groups, utilities, industrial companies and other organisations communicating with both international and Arabic-speaking stakeholders.

The partnership comes in response to a market gap in the GCC region, in which the need for bilingual governance of reporting goes beyond regulatory requirements to actual communications necessity. This becomes further amplified with the need to communicate strategy, performance, governance, risk, sustainability and long-term direction to boards, regulators, investors, analysts, lenders, rating agencies and the wider public.

This, according to Dr. Ali Mohamad, CEO of HOC, cannot be met by traditional models of reporting, in which Arabic is treated as a language layer, rather than a core component of the reporting process.

“GCC institutions should not have to choose between international reporting standards and communication that is authentically Arabic. Arabic must enter the room at the first briefing, not at the final translation stage. Through this partnership, we are bringing regional consultancy, linguistic authority and capital markets reporting discipline together in one senior-led process. Our objective is simple: English and Arabic governance in parity, for reports that are equally impactful in the two languages,” Dr. Ali adds.

The combined offering will include annual reports, integrated reports, ESG and sustainability reports, reporting architecture and content strategy, MD&A and performance narratives, Chairman and CEO messages, board and leadership communications, investor narratives, peer benchmarking, disclosure-sensitive editorial review, Arabic localisation, terminology governance, right-to-left publication review and bilingual quality assurance.

Manoj Saha, Managing Director of Dickenson World, said:

“An annual report is not merely a record of the year. It is one of the most influential controlled communications a Company produces. It must explain performance, strategy, risk and future direction with credibility, while helping investors and other stakeholders understand the business. HOC’s Arabic-first capability and deep GCC insight complement Dickenson’s annual reporting and investor relations expertise exceptionally well. Together, we can help regional issuers create reports that are disclosure-aware, investor-relevant and equally authoritative in English and Arabic.”

The partnership will also support organisations preparing for greater capital markets visibility, including privately held and family-owned groups approaching an IPO, international fundraising, institutional investment or a more formal ESG and governance reporting environment.
