Homeopathy Offers Surgical Alternative: Indian Mother Heals 5 Fibroids Without Going Under the Knife

  • Wellth’s homeopathic wellness approach saves woman from losing her uterus after being diagnosed with massive uterine fibroids
  • Ultrasound revealed more than five sizeable uterine fibroids, which had increased the size of her uterus.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 30th July 2025 – A Dubai-based Indian mother of two has made a remarkable recovery from massive debilitating uterine fibroids without undergoing a hyterectomy or using hormonal medications thanks to an integrative, homeopathy-based treatment from Wellth, an alternative medicine clinic known for blending traditional wisdom with modern holistic healing.

46 year old Indian mother of two, Mrs. Mahendrarajah Jananthi, had been suffering for more than two years with heavy, recurrent bleeding, unrelenting fatigue, and a constant sense of unease. An ultrasound revealed over five large fibroids that had significantly enlarged her uterus, causing substantial physical and emotional distress. Blood tests further confirmed that she had diabetes. With conventional treatments proving ineffective, traditional doctors advised Mrs. Jananthi to do a full hysterectomy as her only viable option.

But Mrs. Jananthi refused to accept invasive surgery as the final word. Instead, she sought care at Wellth, where she was seen by the homeopathic practitioners Dr. Asher Shaikh and Dr. Yasir Shafi. Their approach focused not just on her symptoms, but on her entire being;body, mind, and energy.

“This was not just a case of fibroids,” explained Dr. Asher Shaikh. “It was about a woman who had been silently suffering for years. We focused on restoring her overall wellbeing, i.e. physically, emotionally, and energetically”.

The team at Wellth crafted a personalized, yearlong treatment plan rooted in classical homeopathy. Free from surgical procedures and hormone-based medications, the plan included gentle, natural remedies aimed at working with the body’s own healing mechanisms. Complemented by mindful dietary changes and sustainable physical activity, the approach soon began to yield results.

Within just a few months, Mrs. Jananthi’s symptoms began to ease. Her bleeding subsided, her energy levels increased, and daily life with her family became manageable again. A follow-up ultrasound showed that all but one fibroid had disappeared, and the remaining one had significantly shrunk in size. Her diabetes, once a key concern, was brought under control without conventional medication.

“While the case was clinically common, especially for women in this age group, what made it significant was the patient’s decision to pursue homeopathy over conventional medicine or surgical interventions,” said Dr. Yasir Shafi.

Dr. Asher Shaikh further added, “Cases like Mrs. Jananthi’s remind us of the body’s profound ability to heal when supported holistically. It is not just about addressing the disease, but about creating the right conditions for wellness and true healing to happen. Mrs. Jananthi’s ordeal reminds us that healing is not always about surgery and cutting something out. Sometimes, it is about nurturing the body back into balance.”

Fibroids are non-cancerous lesions in the uterus and are among the most common reproductive issues affecting women globally. According to Dr. Shafi, they impact approximately 12 to 25% of women, and in severe cases, surgery is often recommended as the default solution.

But Wellth’s holistic success with Mrs. Jananthi challenges this norm. Now medication-free and leading a vibrant, energetic life, Mrs. Jananthi continues routine follow-ups at Wellth for maintenance. She says she feels not only physically healthier, but also emotionally lighter and more empowered.

While not all fibroid cases require intervention, those facing persistent, distressing symptoms may benefit from alternative medicine like the one Wellth provides; an approach that is gentle, non invasive, effective, and rooted in personalized care.

Both Dr. Shaikh and Dr. Shafi are optimistic that more women will explore holistic options before committing to surgery for fibroids.

“There is power in understanding your body,” says Dr. Asher Shaikh. “When we combine natural medicine with conscious lifestyle changes, we do not just treat illness, we support true healing.
