The Wellness Event 2026 Inspiring Health, Hope & Resilience in Challenging Times

Dubai, UAE – June 30, 2026, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, successfully brought together healthcare professionals, wellness experts, industry leaders, media representatives, influencers, and members of the community for an inspiring evening dedicated to promoting healthier lifestyles and preventive healthcare.

Hosted at the prestigious One&Only Royal Mirage Dubai, the event was proudly organized by Nutreema, reaffirming its commitment to raising awareness about health, nutrition, and overall wellbeing through educational and engaging community initiatives.

The event welcomed hundreds of attendees who explored an interactive exhibition featuring leading healthcare institutions, wellness brands, and lifestyle partners showcasing the latest innovations, products, and services in health and wellness.

The official program commenced with an opening address on behalf of H.H. Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, delivered by Mariam Hamad Al Shamsy, Secretary General of Sheikh Mohammad bin Khalid Al Nahyan Foundations. In her opening address, Her Highness Sheikha Dr. Shammabint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan emphasized that wellness is not a luxury but an essential foundation of a healthy and fulfilling life. She highlighted the importance of caring for the body, mind, and spirit, noting that women’s health is central to the well-being of families, communities, and future generations.

Her Highness encouraged women to listen to their bodies, prioritize their health, and recognize that seeking rest, medical care, and support are acts of courage and responsibility. She stressed that true empowerment begins with self-awareness and self-care, enabling women to contribute more effectively to their families and society.

She also praised the conference for creating a platform for dialogue, learning, and collaboration, where experts and participants could exchange knowledge that extends beyond medicine to embrace healthy lifestyles and emotional well-being. Concluding her remarks, Her Highness expressed her appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the conference, with special thanks to Mrs. Rima Sayegh for her continued dedication to empowering women and enhancing their quality of life.

Following the opening address, Mrs. Rima Sayegh, Founder of Nutreema and The Wellness Event, welcomed the guests and expressed her gratitude for their presence and continued support. In her remarks, she acknowledged the challenges faced in organizing the event and celebrated the resilience that brought everyone together. She emphasized that The Wellness Event serves as a platform to address topics that matter to every family and every woman, from health and beauty to everyday wellbeing, while encouraging education, awareness, and community engagement.

Adding excitement to the event, energetic Belly Fit Dance and Zumba performances by Zumba Factory Club encouraged attendees to embrace physical activity as an enjoyable part of a healthy lifestyle.

The Wellness Event featured informative presentations delivered by distinguished healthcare professionals, addressing some of today’s most important health topics.

  • “Every Phase of Her – Perimenopause & Menopause”, presented by Dr. Kinda Al-Ani, Consultant in Obstetrics &Gynaecology at Elle by Medcare, who provided valuable insights into women’s health during different stages of life and the importance of early awareness and personalized care.
  • “MD Longevity”, presented by Ms. Maria Mekhmelidjian, National Skincare Expert of Lancôme UAE, highlighting the latest innovations in skincare, healthy aging, and longevity.
  • “Insulin Resistance”, presented by Ms. Dana Al Shakaa, Clinical Dietitian at Al Zahra Hospital Dubai, focusing on the growing prevalence of insulin resistance and the vital role of nutrition and lifestyle modifications in prevention and management.

Attendees also participated in the interactive Moorfields Eye Hospital Quiz, designed to increase awareness about eye health while offering engaging prizes for participants.

Throughout the evening, exciting raffle draws added to the lively atmosphere, rewarding attendees with gifts and exclusive prizes generously provided by event sponsors and partners.
