Dubai, UAE – In 1989, two visionary entrepreneurs, Mr. Ahmed Kahzad Abulhasan Ahmadi and Mr. Saleh Madhad Saleh Buqaraah Alhemeiri, founded a small garment shop in the heart of Dubai’s Deira district. Little did they know, their dream of crafting quality apparel would eventually grow into Dikochi, a brand that would not only capture the essence of Dubai’s evolving identity but also shape the city’s dynamic textile industry.

Dikochi, now a key player in the apparel sector, was born out of a shared vision between the founders, who saw potential in fabric, thread, and the rapidly developing metropolis around them. Over three decades later, Dikochi’s legacy continues to be built on the principles of quality, integrity, and forward-thinking, growing alongside Dubai’s ascent as a global hub for trade and innovation.

“Dikochi has always been about more than just garments,” said Mr. Ahmed Kahzad Abulhasan Ahmadi, Managing Director of Dikochi. “From the very start, we sought to create not just a business but a symbol of the city’s growth, a testament to the vision of two friends who believed in the potential of this land and its people.”

The company’s roots were established in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), where it began its operations in 1989. What started as a modest venture has now expanded into a state-of-the-art 60,000 sq. ft. facility, producing over 100,000 apparel pieces annually, catering to men, women, and children across GCC, U.S., and European markets. Today, the company employs a workforce of over 500 skilled professionals, led by a team that upholds the founders’ legacy and their commitment to excellence.

In addition to manufacturing, Dikochi’s retail arm, DIKL Retail, has successfully brought branded fashion and lifestyle products to the market at affordable prices. The retail outlets, which offer an array of products from clothing and abayas to personal care items and homeware, have become a go-to destination for quality-conscious customers.

“We pride ourselves on delivering branded fashion at everyday prices,” said Mr. Amirali Sofian Tazeh, General Manager at Dikochi. “Our goal is to provide a curated shopping experience that appeals to a wide range of customers, regardless of age, gender, or lifestyle.”
