Kuwait, 18 August 2025: The DP World ILT20 Development Tournament (Kuwait-leg) 2025 will be played from 4 to 12 September at the Sulaibiya Cricket Ground, featuring Failaika Guardians, Pearl Strikers, Kuwait Falcons, and Boubyan Warriors.
The ILT20, Emirates Cricket Board and Kuwait Cricket entered a strategic partnership in June this year which is aimed at the growth and promotion of the sport in Kuwait. The inaugural edition of the DP World ILT20 Development Tournament – Kuwait, is a significant milestone in the partnership.
The four teams will compete in a round-robin format at the DP World ILT20 Development Tournament – Kuwait, with the top two sides meeting in the final on Friday, 12 September. The tournament gives players a golden opportunity to stake their claim for the DP World ILT20 2025 Player Auction, scheduled a few days after the Asia Cup 2025.
