Celebrity Appearances, Exclusive Deals from 250+ leading brands & Expert Advice Await at the Region’s Largest Parenting Event on May 16 & 17 at Dubai World Trade Centre

United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 15 May 2025: The much-anticipated second edition of The Baby Expo, presented by Blaura, is set to open its doors this Friday at the Dubai World Trade Centre for two full days of expert panels, innovative product showcases, and essential resources for families.

As the region’s largest event dedicated to maternity, baby, and toddler care, The Baby Expo promises a world-class line-up of celebrity guest speakers, expert-led sessions and the chance to shop from over 250 world-leading brands. The expo will also feature exclusive product launches, and unmatched opportunities for new and expectant parents to explore the latest innovations and services available for their pregnancy and parenting journeys.

The event will span 14,000 square metres, with over 100 new brands joining this year’s edition which will feature trusted names including Blaura, Babyshop, Cybex, Stokke, Fisher Price, Maxi Cosi, Aster Pharmacy and King’s College Hospital Dubai among others.

As this year’s Baby Expo prepares to double in size, Ruban Shanmugarajah, CEO, Babyshop, said: “Being part of The Baby Expo 2025 is more than a partnership — it’s a shared mission. Together, we’re creating a space where parents feel supported, informed, and truly empowered. As we look ahead, our focus remains on equipping families with the tools and knowledge to make the journey of raising children both joyful and reassuring”

Celebrity speakers confirmed to attend include beloved media personality and host Kris Fade, beauty entrepreneur Joelle Mardinian, parenting influencers Nora and Khalid, and digital creators Chihab and Nour, among others. Visitors can expect insightful conversations, parenting inspiration, and the chance to meet their favourite personalities in person.

This year’s programme features three dedicated stages to education, advice and support: The Aster Pharmacy Main Stage, The Blaura Expert Education Stage and the Kings Educational Stage: My Baby & Me. Together, these stages will offer over 100 expert-led sessions covering every aspect of the parenting journey, from newborn care and sleep routines to feeding strategies, post-partum wellness and positive parenting techniques.

The speaker line-up includes some of the region’s most respected names in early childhood development and parenting. These include Dubai’s go-to sleep consultant Julie Mallon, founder of Nurture 2 Sleep; Amanda Jenner, the UK’s leading potty training expert and founder of My Carry Potty; Sarah Raslan and Karen Abou Jaoude, co-founders of The Wise Parent platform known for empowering modern mums; Hanan Ezzedin, founder of The Family Hub; Rania Hussant, mindful parent educator and life coach; and Nathalie Barsoumian, founder and principal of Handprint Early Childhood Centre.

Ashleigh Lloyd, Co-Founder of The Baby Expo, commented: “We’re excited to introduce a fresh line-up of expert speakers and well-known voices this year, many of whom are joining the event for the first time. With more content, more energy and more opportunities to engage, we can’t wait to welcome families to an even more dynamic experience this May.”

With over 250 global brands, dedicated mum & baby chill zones, and family-friendly entertainment, The Baby Expo is a one-stop destination for parents seeking the latest in products, services, and guidance across every stage of early childhood development. This year’s event features event-only discounts, live demonstrations, and specialised zones including Babyshop’s Stroller Testing Track, the Cybex Safety Zone for child road safety and the Mumzworld Mumz Lounge, as well as the Mumpreneur Conference empowering entrepreneurial mothers on Friday morning.

New for 2025, The Baby Expo introduces the NextGen: Industry Leaders Summit on May 16, an exclusive platform for professionals to gain high-value insights and connect with industry-decision makers. Bringing together top executives from the maternity, baby and toddler industry, the summit will explore emerging trends, market shifts, competitive strategies, and future opportunities in the baby and parenting industry. With discussions on consumer behavior, sustainability, and innovation, this is a valuable opportunity for businesses looking to stay ahead, strengthen partnerships, and unlock new growth opportunities.

Also new for this year, The Mother, Baby and Child Awards will debut on the evening of Friday 16 May at the Ritz-Carlton DIFC, honouring excellence across the region’s maternity, baby and children’s sector. From innovative brands and nurseries to wellness providers and baby essentials, the awards will spotlight those making a meaningful impact on families and their well-being.
