A total of 17,976 people were recently arrested in Saudi Arabia for violating residency and labour regulations, as well as border security rules, the authorities reported on Saturday. China has executed two Filipinos for drug trafficking despite high-level Philippine government appeals to commute their death sentences to life in prison, the Philippine government said on Saturday.
