Abu Dhabi Customs hosted its annual “Together We Rise” forum under the theme “With Positivity and Dedication, We Achieve Balance and Leadership.” The event focused on outlining future goals and improving employee well-being by promoting a healthy lifestyle, positive thinking, and essential life skills. This initiative aligns with the Abu Dhabi Government’s vision and the National Strategy for Wellbeing 2031 and enhances its position to be the happiest country in the world.
The forum was held at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, Yas Island—the world’s largest indoor marine theme park. Attendees included H.E. Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs, along with senior executives, officials, and a large group of employees.
In his opening remarks, H.E. Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori emphasized the importance of fostering a comprehensive approach to well-being in a positive work environment, highlighting how it reinforces Abu Dhabi Customs’ leadership and supports the UAE’s ambitions while boosting the country’s global competitiveness. He also stressed the need for teamwork, collaboration, and adapting to rapid technological advancements by leveraging artificial intelligence tools and digital technologies in learning and work environments. This approach, he explained, would open broader horizons for creativity and encourage human talent to actively participate in proposing innovative ideas and launching groundbreaking initiatives and projects. Such efforts, he concluded, would be instrumental in evolving the customs work system, serving Abu Dhabi Customs’ future plans, and propelling its journey towards global excellence.
The forum also showcased Abu Dhabi Customs’ achievements during its strategic transformation, which included winning 91 global, regional, and local awards across various domains of customs operations. Additionally, it outlined future plans aimed at creating a motivated, trust-based work environment that fosters employee loyalty and camaraderie. The importance of positive thinking was highlighted as key to achieving continuous success and growth, with employees being encouraged to enhance their skills to become active contributors to the UAE’s development journey.
The event featured entertainment activities for employees, including performances, cultural competitions, and opportunities for participants to explore marine life and enjoy interactive experiences and unique attractions offered by SeaWorld Abu Dhabi.
